Lisa Ann Marsh
Lisa Ann Marsh creates music inspired by the natural and supernatural worlds, the complexity of human emotions, and the artists she collaborates with. Her chamber and choral works have been performed by the Northwest Piano Trio, The Mousai, and Choral Arts Ensemble. Current projects include an opera in collaboration with Matt Zrebski and Barbara Conable, a symphonic poem, a song cycle lamenting the vanishing glaciers, and a string quartet.
Marsh is a pianist with the Marsh-Titterington Piano Duo and former Principal Keyboard with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of Cascadia Composers, a founding member of Crazy Jane Composers, and a member of the piano faculty at Portland State University, where she also directs the wellness program for musicians.
